Description
Plug and play air source swimming pool heat pumps are the ideal partner for above ground swimming pools with capacities up to 25,000 liters (25 m3) such as Intex and Bestway. This ultra-efficient, compact heater consumes only 1120 watts but delivers an impressive 3400-5100 watts of energy to heat your pool.
Even on the warmest summer days, jumping into an unheated pool is reserved for the brave. Until now, traditional electric heaters have been very expensive to run. Air source heat pumps use the natural surrounding air, absorb it into a fluid, and then compress it to increase its temperature, which is then used to heat the passing pool water. This clever technology means you get 5 times the energy you put into the heater.
So, in basic terms, it will draw 1.12KW of power from your power socket and pump up to 5.1KW of heat into your pool.

The plug and play air source heat pump has a very compact footprint, measuring just 49cm high x 44cm wide x 38cm deep. We recommend using a solar pool cover to help retain heat when the pool is not in use. If your pool pump has a flow rate greater than the 2000 liters/hour recommended by your heater, the flow should be bypassed to the heater and the remaining flow returned directly to the pool. The heat pump should be installed after the filtration system to prevent debris from entering the heat pump.
