Leomon's air source heat pumps provide the most cost-effective and efficient method of heating your swimming pool. These units are 400% more efficient than other heating methods and can operate at temperatures of -15⁰C.
Essentially, a heat pump works on the opposite principle to an air conditioning unit, using ambient air temperature to energize the refrigerant enclosed within the unit. The temperature of the refrigerant increases, generating heat in the process.
By diverting water flow from the pool recirculation pump and sand filtration system, the circulating water captures the heat generated by "energizing" the refrigerant. As long as the unit is on, it will deliver heat to the temperature you set.
These units are quick to install and operate. Air source heat pumps feature simple in and out connections and an electronic LCD temperature control panel to effectively heat your pool.
