Description
Heat
pump water heaters take heat from the air, amplify it and transfer it to hot
water. Therefore, they are also called "air source heat pumps". Heat
pumps use electricity to operate a compressor rather than heat electrical
components.
Our CO2
heat pump water heater systems are almost five times more efficient than
traditional electric water tanks with electric elements. They save energy, save
money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from electricity generation.
The
working principle of CO2 heat pump water heater:
1.
Harness the heat energy in the air
Air at
room temperature contains a lot of heat energy
2. Heat
pumps concentrate heat energy
Recovery
compressors use natural CO2 refrigerant to concentrate heat energy from the air
3. Heat
pump heating cylinder
Heat
energy is transferred from the CO2 refrigerant to the cold water through a heat
exchanger in the compressor.
4. Hot
water fills the cylinder from top to bottom
Hot
water at 63°C returns to the top of the hot water tank in a single pass through
the compressor.
5. When
the whole cylinder is hot, the heat pump is turned off
Once the
sensor in the cylinder reaches 60°C, the recovery controller will shut down the
heat pump compressor
Advantage:
1.
Environmental protection
2)
Natural CO2 refrigerant
3) Very
effective for water heating
4) The
global warming potential is only 1
5)
Naturally occurring gases
2. Water
cycle only
1) All
refrigerant is safely contained within the compressor
2) There
is no refrigerant circulation in the hot water tank
3) No
maintenance or refrigerant refill required
3. Power
saving
1) Up to
75% less energy for hot water
2) 4.7
COP – Highest in New Zealand
3) Maximize
self-generated photovoltaic power generation, increasing energy output by five
times
4) Use
the instant boost function of the heat pump
4.
Indoor or outdoor cylinder
1) Use
your cylinder to keep your linen cupboard warm
2) Or
use an outdoor cylinder to make room inside
3) Using
Reclaim you can choose where your cylinder is located
4) No
electronic components are used
