Pools that are too hot can cause chemical imbalance issues and can quickly become overgrown with algae if not monitored properly. Chlorine evaporates as the water temperature increases. The hot temperatures of summer can be difficult for pool owners. Pool and spa heat pumps allow homeowners to lower the temperature to the appropriate level. Heating and cooling
Heat pumps can operate at temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C). This air-to-water heat source is the most efficient cold weather heat pump on the market. Heating and cooling save over 80% over traditional heating equipment. This unit can generate up to 17.5 kilowatts or 59,710 BTU of cable heat energy. No other pool or spa heat pump on the market performs better than Leomon’s heat pumps in cold weather. This allows you to open the pool early and close it later. It is also ideal for energy saving in spas and hot tubs. Works in temperatures up to 104 F even in 20 F conditions! Leomon's heat pump is an excellent heat pump suitable for most swimming pools.

How it works
Heat pumps use energy in the air. By using an oversized evaporator, energy is removed and transferred to refrigeration. The compressor compresses the gas, causing its temperature to rise. The hot gases then pass through a titanium pool heat exchanger and are transferred directly to the pool or hot spring water. In cooling mode, the unit reverses direction and cools the pool water by removing heat from the titanium heat exchanger and expelling it to the evaporator.
The unit consumes only 1/3 to 1/5 of the heat it generates. Energy savings of up to 80% compared to traditional electric or gas pool or spa heaters. Built-in hot gas defrost and drain pan/compressor freeze protection for cold weather performance.
