Description
CO2 heat
pumps can deliver temperatures up to 90°C, offer heating capacities from 16kW
to 137.9kW, and can be cascaded for greater capacity. They are ideal for
commercial applications that require large volumes of water heating.
Capable
of providing water heating up to 90°C, with source water outlet temperatures as
low as -10°C, offering excellent flexibility.
The
transcritical nature of the CO2 refrigeration cycle means that these products
are ideally suited for the production of domestic hot water. The lower the
inlet temperature, the greater the cooling of the refrigerant in the gas
cooler, which allows more heat to be absorbed from the outside air during
evaporation. This means they are ideal for heating water from cold water,
achieving a high COP even at very high outlet temperatures.
R744
(CO2) has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 1, a fraction of traditional
refrigerants (up to 2,500+). This makes it a greener option than traditional
refrigerants.
