The high-efficiency cold-climate heat pump (CCHP) uses an inverter or variable-speed drive compressor, which allows it to absorb heat from the air to heat your home and hot water in an extremely cold climate of -25°C

The COP value of the low temperature heat pump is greater than 3 at 5 °F. This means that even at very low temperatures, heat pumps can provide up to 3 times the heat of inefficient alternatives such as skirting boards.
