Air Source Heat Pump Barn Conversion
The owners of a 5-bedroom barn conversion replaced an aging oil-fired
boiler with a Leomon air source heat pump.
The scope of work:
The client needed an energy efficient heating and hot water solution
that complied with current building codes to provide underfloor heating and
heated water tanks to provide enough hot water for him and his family in their
new barn remodel. The client has partnered with our domestic plumber to
complete the project.
Work carried out:
Leomon designed, supplied and commissioned the Leomon Heat Pump 8.5kw
single phase Monobloc air source heat pump system to provide the new home with:
Floor heating
After consultation, a plumber installed an outdoor unit and a 300-liter
unvented hot water tank
Leomon installs the control system and fully debugs the system
