1. Don't ... worry about temperature reading.

The heat pump measurement of the ambient temperature is different from your old heating system. Set the heat pump to a comfortable temperature, and then adjust the settings up and down within a few days until it reaches the temperature value that suits you.

2. Don't ... let your existing heating system start.

If this is done, your old system will compete with the heat pump to spend your energy and money. In the area where you use the heat pump, adjust your old thermostat to 10 ° F lower than before. If you used to set it to 68 before, set it to 58. This can make your old system a spare heat source. If the area becomes cold in the cold, please don't be afraid to temporarily raise the old thermostat. Or when installing a new heat pump, consider adding an integrated control, so that you do not need to fully adjust the thermostat.

3. Don't ... make it a fuss for it every day.

You may reduce the temperature of the old heating system at work or at night. The heat pump is different. It reaches the highest efficiency by maintaining the set temperature. 4. Don't ... relax on your heat pump.

5. Don't ... use "automatic" mode.

People naturally think that the "Auto" model will be a more efficient setting. But if you use it, your device will take the risk of unnecessary switching between heating and cooling. When the winter is set to "Heat" and the summer is set to "Cool", your heat pump is the highest efficiency. Note: "Auto Fan" is a separate setting, which is very easy to use.

6. Don't ... use the lowest fan speed.

Strange but real: The heat pump has the highest working efficiency when setting a higher fan speed. Of course, high fan speed will produce more environmental noise and air flow. Use the maximum speed you think, then dial into the temperature setting you like.

7. Don't ... forget to maintain.

This is the case for almost all heating systems. But this did not reduce its importance. It is usually fast and easy to do. 8. Don't ... worry about the ideal exchange point.
