Description
One of the most attractive features of an outdoor swimming pool is the
comforting warmth of the water, which is why it is so important to prevent heat
loss to the atmosphere. With the need to constantly replenish new energy
sources and maintain the right temperature, the right heat pump can provide the
most sustainable and energy efficient solution and will save you up to 75% in
operating costs.
Heat pumps use electricity and refrigerant to move heat from one
location to another. To provide heat, it extracts heat from the outside air and
transfers it to the refrigerating coolant - which is then compressed,
significantly raising the temperature. The now hot coolant is then moved to the
pool water side of the heat pump, which then passes the pool water through a
piping system containing the hot coolant, raising the temperature of the pool
water.
How does an inverter heat pump work?
The use of inverter technology in outdoor swimming pool heat pumps is
relatively new. This technology makes it possible for the fans and compressors
inside the heat pump to operate at variable speeds. As a result, the inverter
heat pump is able to adjust the output very accurately to match the actual
needs of the swimming pool.
Once the temperature you set for the pool is reached, the inverter heat
pump will reduce the output to between 25% and 50% of maximum power. At this
output, the heat pump is able to achieve a COP of just over 13, which means it
can deliver 13kW of heat to the pool for every kW of electricity used.
Features:
1. Full parts and labor warranty for the first three years
2. Compressor warranty for five years
3. Ten years warranty for titanium heat exchanger
4. Electronic de-icing and defrosting control.
5. Fiberglass shell - no rust.
6. Electronic self-diagnostic control panel
7. Quiet 53dB noise level.
The pool heat pump is located outside. You need to power it, but the
plumbing to the pool is simple.
