Benefits
of Natural Refrigerant R290 R290 refrigerant (propane) is a natural refrigerant
with a GWP of 3 compared to R410a refrigerant which has a GWP of 2,088. A
refrigerant with a GWP 700 times lower than R410A is certainly the future of a
refrigerant. It is also one of the most efficient refrigerants, with a capacity
similar to the now discontinued R22. These units have an extremely low charge
capacity, typically 1/10 that of a similar capacity heat pump.
