does a DHW heat pump work?
DHW heat
pumps utilize free ambient energy for DHW heating. These systems draw heat from
indoor air, such as a basement, for DHW heating. DHW heat pumps are equipped
with suitable fans to draw in ambient air and extract latent heat from it. This
is transferred to the refrigerant through a heat exchanger (evaporator). The
compressor raises the temperature level of the refrigerant. The recovered
energy can then be used to heat your domestic hot water through another heat
exchanger (condenser).

much does a DHW heat pump cost?
DHW heat
pumps are affordable and flexible. Depending on the model, they can efficiently
utilize ambient air or outside air at the installation site. They can also be
used in combination with photovoltaic systems. This pays off for you in two
ways: you increase your self-consumption and benefit from almost free DHW
heating.
