Description
Air source heat pump systems that can be used for heating, cooling and
domestic hot water (DHW) production use refrigerant R410A - in contrast, we use
refrigerant R744. After all, the task of our CO2 heat pumps is to generate exceptionally
high hot water temperatures to meet customer demands for higher water
temperatures.
R744 - Refrigerant from nature
After the model name R744 is the natural refrigerant CO 2 . Carbon
dioxide (CO 2 ) is an almost ideal refrigerant in terms of ecology and safety
because it has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0. In addition, it is
non-toxic, non-flammable and chemically inert—properties that make recycling
and disposal unnecessary.
Unique properties of CO2
Carbon dioxide also has many unique thermophysical properties:
1. Very good heat transfer coefficient
2. Relatively unaffected by pressure loss
3. Very low viscosity
CO2 advantages at a glance:
carbon dioxide as refrigerant
1. Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) = 0
2. Greenhouse Warming Potential (GWP) = 1
3. Meet all the requirements of refrigerants in terms of climate
protection
Our CO2 refrigeration technology
1. Turbo Motor
Three connected refrigerant tubes are used in the heat exchanger of our
hot water heat pump in a spiral wound around the helical water tube for maximum
heat transfer.
2. Ultra-high COP
The CO2 heat pump system produces a water flow temperature of 90 °C at
outdoor temperatures as low as -25 °C, with a hot water COP as high as 3.88.
3. Stable operation
CO2 heat pumps provide full heating output even at -3 °C outdoor
temperatures.
4. Quiet operation
The CO2 heat pump operates at a whisper quiet level - 37dB, making it
the quietest hot water heat pump system on the market.
5. Eco-friendly products
As an eco-friendly product, the CO2 heat pump hot water system is an
affordable system that ranks alongside solar energy in terms of environmental
protection.
6. Easy installation
Much like traditional hot water systems, CO2 heat pump systems are easy
to install and have flexible tank configurations with stainless steel and
glass-lined options. CO2 heat pump and stainless steel or enamel enamel storage
tank can be placed 10 meters horizontally or 5 meters vertically.
Application of CO2 heat pump:
For residential industrial and commercial use
CO2 heat pumps have found wide application, especially for hot water
production, for example in the residential sector, commercial applications and
industrial applications.
