Important!
1. All
heat pumps are tested and certified to AS/NZS 60335
2.
International standards specific to heat pumps.
3. Don't
put your family's safety at risk.
4.
Purchase only certified heat pumps.
5. Any

Economical
and quiet operation
Pool
heat pumps are highly efficient, converting the electricity used and returning
five times or more of the energy as heat.
This
machine only needs 1.33KW power input to return 7KW+ heat output. (The heat
output will rise with the outside temperature). Another way to look at it is
that for every $1 of electricity input, you'll get $5-6 more in heat! This is
compared to a resistive heater, such as your spa, which heats one element and
returns only 1 kW of heat for every 1 kW of electricity, or only $1 of heat for
every $1 you spend.
Running
a heat pump is also much cheaper than electric or gas heating, saving up to
75%, solar heating on a roof requires a lot of plumbing, requires a pump to
run, can be unsightly, and needs sunlight! You can run your pool heat pump 24/7
quietly and economically in the cold and without the sun! They will work from
-15 degrees Celsius to +43 degrees Celsius. This pool heat pump is also quiet
at 50 DB(a)
Just
turn it on!
*Cost to
produce 1 million BTU of heat, comparison percentages and prices will vary.
Install
Plumbing
installation can be done yourself or by a local plumber if it is convenient for
you.
Using
40mm high pressure PVC pipe (grade 12 - 50mm outside) simply connect your pool
heat pump inlet and outlet to your pool filtration system outlet and inlet,
after your pool pump.
A bypass
valve is required to balance the flow of water through the pool heat pump for
optimum performance.
Then
have an electrician install a suitable power source on his own circuit with the
RCD and turn it on!
How they
work
Pool
heat pumps work exactly the same way as your air conditioner or refrigerator,
even in winter, they extract ambient temperature from the surrounding air. This
heat is absorbed by the refrigerant gas, compressed and heated further, and
then instead of heating the air like an air conditioner, it heats the water
through a titanium heat exchanger coil and returns it to your pool.
Heat
Pump Location
The
device will work in any desired location as long as the following three items
are present:
1. Fresh
Air
2.
Electricity
3. Swimming
pool filter
The unit
can be installed in almost any outdoor location as long as the specified
minimum distance from other objects is maintained. Consult your installer to
install an indoor swimming pool. Installation in a windy place will not present
any problems at all.
