heat pumps are inexpensive and great value for money.
A heat
pump is an on/off heat pump. This means running at one speed (100%) when
running the fan and compressor. Fans and compressors turn on and off as needed
to maintain the desired pool temperature using the built-in water temperature
thermostat.
This
range is ideal for above ground or in-ground pools that you want to use for
longer seasons.
Heat
pumps can significantly reduce operating costs with a COP of up to 5.98. This
means that for every 1kw of electricity consumed by the heat pump, 5.98kw of
heat is delivered to the pool. This reduces operating costs compared to
electric heaters on the market.

NOTE: These heat pumps do not come with a power cord or plug. This requires a
heavy duty round flex cable with a plug on the end. Purchase a plug-and-play
cable kit to make them into a plug-and-play unit.

8.5kw and 11.5kw models can be run from a standard 13A plug. Larger sizes
require hardwiring to the consumer unit via a dedicated electrical circuit
breaker

NOTE: These heat pumps come with 50mm fittings for use with 1.5" solid
pipe - you will need to purchase 2 x 50mm to 1.5" adapters and a bottle of
glue as listed in Optional Accessories.

above ground pools, choose 2 x 1.5" Threaded Hose and 2 x Jubliee Clips,
which are available as optional add-ons on the list. This will allow you to
connect 32mm/38mm hose.

the outside temperature drops, the heat pump will still perform well,
delivering heat to your pool.
COP
(Coefficient of Performance) is the ratio of the heat (in kw) the heat pump
provides to your swimming pool to the electricity (in kw) the heat pump uses

Installation
is simple. We can provide advice on installing heat pumps. We can also provide
installation services if required.
We
recommend installing a bypass so that the heat pump can be evacuated in winter
when it is not in use. We sell bypass kits if needed.
