control panel is not affected by rain and weather.

the up and down arrow keys to set the desired pool temperature and the
Thermotec Penguin will automatically turn on and off to maintain the desired
temperature

Built-in water flow switch
The heat
pump has a built-in water flow switch.
The
water flow switch automatically shuts down the heat pump when there is no (or
insufficient) water flow, and restarts the heat pump when sufficient water flow
is restored.
This
allows the heat pump to be used with the clock on the pool circulation pump.
When the
circulation pump is turned off, the heat pump will be turned off, and when the
circulation pump is turned on again, the heat pump will be turned on again.
